870 problem

When I screw the magazine cap down tight, the action won't go all the way into battery. If I back the cap off a bit then it will go into battery but the barrel can move. Any way to rectify this problem easily?

Check the nut that holds the fore end to the slide and make sure it is tight.

The forend nut is loose .
