Scope mount for Ruger Redhawk

Hi, All.

Am considering mounting a scope on a 7.5" Redhawk (.44 mag) for hunting deer. The one I have does not have the factory rings, doesn't have the little indentation thingies in the barrel for rings, like some newer models from Ruger have. Wondering if anyone has experience/feedback on this:

Or are there other/better ways to mount a scope on a Redhawk? Is having a smith drill and tap it a better option?

I have the Weigand mount on my Super Redhawk. The B-Square was a POS, but this one is awesome. You won't regret it.
