One person's "reasonable price" is another person's :what: !!!!!

What's your idea of a "reasonable price"?

A good question that I would like to know the answer to as well. :)

Next time I shoot my AK with brass-cased ammo, I'll let you know. You can stand in the next county and catch it. ;)

Grafs has it.

It's not cheap on the most part- about $38 per 100 or so for Winchester. I just pony up the extra and buy Lapua, if only because I think it will last longer.

My AK is very gentle on brass, actually. Use the right loads and the brass is very easy to find.

My SKS, on the other hand, chews the stuff up, tosses it every which-way, and scratches up the rims.

Again, I'll recommend the most accurate, low cost load for 7.62X39 out there- 14.2 grains of 2400 and a 155 grain lead bullet.

As a side note, the Remington brass features small rifle primers. Or at least it used to- I haven't used any of theirs in a while.

This may simplify matters if you also load a lot of .223 or another small-rifle case...

Yep Remington is SR and Winchester is LR if you have a free floating firing pin for added safety I would suggest using the CCI Mil-Spec primers the #41 for SR and the #34 for LR. The cup is harder than the standard primer and the anvil is designed differently so as to reduce the possibility of slam fires caused by the floating firing pin.
