I regret to say that I am withdrawing my formerly enthusiastic recommendation for this ammo. In my last thousand (I've shot off 4,000 of them before this batch), I had two rounds come apart while chambering. My pistol, a classic Browning Hi Power, failed to fully go to battery, and therefore did not fire. In each case, I field stripped the pistol on the spot and found the bullet lodged in the chamber, fully engaged with the rifling (and a magazine well-primed with smokeless powder). Between these two episodes, I changed out the recoil and firing pin springs with new Wolff standard springs. The range owner examined the bullets and stated that they had both suffered from misalignment in the same way when inserted in the casing. I am giving him the rest of my last lot, about 500, for disposal. I now order my 9mm range ammo from Mastercast, who has provided me with four thousand excellent .38sp reloads. I will continue to include Outdoormarksman in my searches for a good price on SD (factory)ammo.
Cordially, Jack

Mastercast produces some of the best reloads I've every shot. Many ranges and clubs use their ammo. I use their 9mm, .40 SW and .45 ACP frequently and I've never had a misfire or irregular cartridge.
