ahem... well itīs not mine.
But i sure wish it was.
Itīs a five-shooter in 12gauge.
I remember seeing a few pics of similar models,
in like 20ga. But this must be greatest so far.
I was amazed it went for "only" around 1000 Euros.

I'm willing to bet that one of the reasons that the revolver-shotgun never caught on was that tube-magazine designs held just as much ammunition and are probably cheaper to build.
Not as classy, though!!

Cool looking gun. Colt made one in the 1800's, never seen a modern one. I'm not sure I'd want an exposed forearm very close to that cylinder though.

Part of the lack of availability is they are illegal in many places and the cost is too high for the homies.

I think he is talking about the streetsweeper, which is a destructive device, requiring a $200 tax stamp. I've seen streetsweepers go for about $600-$700. No thanks, very slow and awkward to reload from what I hear.

They'd be illegal for hunting in the US, at least when and where you have a 3-shot max.
In California, any shotgun with a revolving cylinder is illegal. Not sure about other states with "assault weapons" laws.

It's a Russian MTs-255 (the Russian character "tseh" doesn't have an English equivalent, but is usually translated as "Ts"); here's a Russian version of THR with some more photos: http://talks.guns.ru/forummessage/60/209491.html
It's built by KPBTula, in 12, 20, and 410: http://www.kbptula.ru/rus/sphu/hunt/mts255.htm

KPBTula makes a couple of real oddballs along these lines; here an unusual combination gun that combines a bolt-action single-shot upper (apparently in 9.3mm Mauser) with a semi-auto 20 gauge lower.

Dude! That is mondo cool.
But.....shouldn't it have a hammer spur so that you can self-cock and fire SA? Yeah, those europeans are nuts!

That is pretty sweet, however my 870 holds more rounds and I can clear a jam very quickly. If that thing jammed or malfunctioned, it would not be good in a life or death situation.

I WANT that rifle/shotgun!
The most, largest, and most appetizing quail we found this year was while deer hunting. Since we didn't get a deer, I cursed the .30-06 in my hands when that covey showed up. They were just walking along a closed road.
Rifle over semiauto 20 gauge would be really nice here! OTOH, I wonder what it weighs.

OTOH, I wonder what it weighs.
The website says 3.8 kilograms, or 8 pounds 6 ounces; fairly heavy.

I got to wonder how long that little cylinder ratchet & corresponding hand are going to last turning a 2-pound cylinder full of shotgun shells.

The website says 3.8 kilograms, or 8 pounds 6 ounces; fairly heavyThat's around what my M44 weighs, and I carry it hunting. My FAL is heavier, and my 1740 is twice that weight.
Seems easier than carrying two guns, though.

It's hard to tell in the photos, but the drawings appear to show a little bit of a hammer spur that can be thumb-cocked:

In California, any shotgun with a revolving cylinder is illegal. Not sure about other states with "assault weapons" laws.
Sadly Cook County, IL (Chicago and many of the surrounding suburbs) ban shotguns with revolving cylinders too. It seems to be a commonly restricted feature in the state/county assault weapon bans that have been proposed and enacted.
I'm still not clear as to the benefits of the revolving cylinder in a shotgun. The magazines in my shotguns hold 6 and 7 3" shells, and I haven't had a single jam. If rapid fire is the goal, I bet an autoloader would be better than this revolving cylinder shotgun...
Also, any increased danger from having that revolving cylinder behind your non-trigger hand, in the unlikely event that a shell other than the one lined up with the barrel were to fire some how? I'm sure it would ruin my day if a shell were to fire inside my Remington 870 magazine, but I wonder if it would be worse with a revolving cylinder design?

How do you eject spent hulls? I keep looking for a manual ejector but can't see one.
That tiny little nub is supposed to work the cylinder? What if it's cold out and your hands are numb, or it is an emergency and you are sweating?
Cool to look at, but it looks like a gimmick to me.

How do you eject spent hulls?
It's got a S&W-style extractor star, operated by the axis pin hidden behind the curved protector shield.

The trouble is, it's literally the size of one of "Hellboy's" revolvers, and weighs 5 pounds, 8 ounces; hardly concealable :-)
