That looks photoshopped to me. The writing on the clip doesn't look like it's been stamped on the clip; it looks like it was pasted on.

Model 8 enthusiast and eventual owner here ('twas my great grandfather's deer rifle now owned by dad. He may have 1 clip for our .35 remington model.
Still, I'd like to get ahold of the extended magazine LEO model before I worried too much about getting strippers for the old rifle.
Gun Parts sells them for $13-when they have them!

After reviewing this photo extensively, I do not believe at all that this is a photoshop compilation. It's actually stamped on the back of the clip.

I didn't get a Model 8, I got an 81; 8s weren't made in .300 Savage.

The 81 should, hopefully, be here sometime next week.

I just got interested in this because I know that the strippers for the 8s are turbo uncommon.

As for the hammer dropping, oh no, those pesky British call hammers on centerfire guns Kafrazzythuts.

In order to properly pronounce it you have to have a mouth full of dry, tasteless scone and a pinky sticking out at right angles to the cup of scalding hot tea you're trying to choke down.
