I was thinking of buying a stainless steel for my ROA but I decided to buy deanodog's TC Buckeye carbine.

Gentlemen,
If you're ridin the fence - I'd say come on down and buy it. I got mine from Midway a couple weeks ago, for my 1858 Pietta Remington, and have had so much fun shooting it. I have gone thru a couple hundered rounds, not a single complaint.
I am thinking of hawking off a couple of the kids so I can buy more ammo ;-)
Seriously, if you can afford it - buy it.
Good day all.

"Ruger non-fluted Stainless - $259 Save $30"
Buffalo Arms always has them for less:

$259!!! That's more than I paid for the ROA, stainless, unfired in the box!
Just can't justify it - I'm allergic to paying full retail price.

The problem with Buffalo Arms is that they only offer the Remington 1858 cylinders in .44 colt.
Not easy to find sufficient heal base or hollow based ammo nor a mould for it.

Since I only have the ROA, I'm a little more prone to point out the accessories that match it :).

Anybody got a discount code they can share? I'm thinking of ordering.
