Few questions about a 24/47:

1. My sight appears to be off to the right. How do I adjust it?
2. Is it ok to switch from Berdan-primed ammo (corrosive) to new boxer and back?
3. How can some berdan be corrosive and some not be?
4. How long do I wait to pour the windex down the barrel after shooting? Is it ok to pour it down the barrel when hot?

Not too sure about #1, but I think I can answer your other questions.

2. It's okay to switch.
3. It's the composition of the primer material that determines whether it is corrosive. Someone here will know for sure what that compound is; I think it's potasium perclorate or something similar to that name.
4. Some people use Windex. I just use an amonia and hot water solution, then water. Then I run dry patches until the water is gone. Finally a small amount of Rem Oil.

Which sight? If it is the front sight there is a small screw under the blade take it out and then you have to heat with a torch to realign it then you will have to position it. Ther is a set dent under the sight that the screw sets in , should be where the sight centers, tighten it dowh and then you will have to re solder.
The rear is basically the same.
PS: Treat ALL Bredan as crossive.

No screw to be seen. It has a sight hood though. Thanks for the info.
