I'm using the #10 shell holder that came with it for trimming .223. When you push the handle down it only opens far enough to let the shell slide half way in, and that's using a lot of pressure. Is there an adjustment I'm missing somewhere? I didn't see anything in the directions about adjusting the travel.

Make sure you have the plate on correct.

The plate was in the right way and everything. I ended up taking the whole thing apart and taking one of the concave washers out to give it more travel. It works like a charm now.
