Hello,
i have 100 pieces of 'Remington : heavy magnum shotshells'
It's a green-red box (10 pieces a box)
I don't find any information of these shells.
I think it's older ammunition?
Anyone knows what shells these are?
Thanks

Could you get a shot of the blurry side of the box that is facing us where it has the details? Bet there are a lot of good clues there but much of it is illegible.
Also could you open the box and get a shot of one of the shells lengthwise and one of the head stamp?

OK, these are 12 gauge, 3" magnums, and if I've done the conversion correctly the shot weight is about 1 5/8 oz.
I find it odd there's no shot size listed. Anything on the other side of the box?

Got it. These are goose loads from before the lead shot ban. I've a few downstairs in 2 3/4".

These are 12 gauge 3" magnum shells. The payload of 50 grams converts to about 1 3/4 ounces of lead.
These would be some teeth jarring SOB's to shoot in any gun that weighed less than 10 pounds.

I've shot something like this through a 6 pound coach gun.
And yes, Pete, it's no fun whatsoever. Unless you're a masochist for pain, that is.

Yep, fired that sort of thing through an H&R single shot with a hard but plate.

Those are anti-aircraft rounds :D I'd really feel gipped if I shot at anything less than a plane with 'em because they're gonna hurt something fierce :what:

I'd save them if they were mine. they are well on their way to being collectable. If we could still hunt geese with those the 3.5 12 ga would have never been born. If you want to sell them drop me an email.

Belgium!! What a small world the internet makes. Can you still hunt waterfowl over there with lead? Those are great geese loads.
