A local shop has an older FM Hi Power (with the stepped slide) for $448. Gun is in good shape and has adjustable target type sights.
Is this a reasonable price for this pistol?
Thanks, Mike.

I would say about $100 too high for an FM, especially a non-original piece.

It's a good gun, but I'd look for $300 to $350.
You can occasionally find FNHP's going for the range you quoted.

Thanks for the information. It's at a pawnshop so I'll see if I can talk them down on the price.

I think MSRP was about $299, but like Norinco's, price fluctuates depending on your area and local rarity.
I thought its a steal for $299. I've never seen one sell for less than $299 no matter the condition.

I'd have to go along with everyone else in pricing a FM Hi-Power at around $300 to $350. They are good, serviceable guns that have been around for quite some time.
