Dust off your guns, WWIII starts in September (?)

Dateline: Lunch break. Listening to "BlackHawk Down" soundtrack. Gets me thinking. Always a risky prospect.
Why September you ask?
Reading info from several sources (you can do a search) in the last few days:
1) Al-Quida major attacks have tended to come in two year intervals, and this will be the 2 year anniversary of 9/11.
2) The so called road map to peace between Israel and the Palestinians- the Palestinian "ceasefire" is scheduled to end in September, and isn't a ceasefire but a "hudna", a time to regroup and rearm. And they are.
3) It is now believed that Iran is very close (1-2) years of having nuke capability- unacceptable to the Israelis- think Osirik.
4) Blaster-Lovsan worm.
There will be a major attack on U.S. infrastructure/economic targets, starting with a matured worm attack on all computer systems, shutting down all defensive and financial capability.
Israel will attack the Iranian nuke plant. Several MidEast countries will retaliate against Israel, and the beefed up terrorist organization in Gaza/West Bank will lead the charge.
The big one is nigh.
Stock up now on ammo and food.
It's too late to practice now.
Dust 'em off- lock and load- good luck to all.
Lunch over.

Does aluminum foil work too or does it have to be tin?

Heavy duty oven stuff- usually keeps those stray thoughts from slipping out, definately prevents anything that threatens to be useful from getting in.;)

BlackHawk Down soundtrack
P.S.
I challenge you to listen to this and not think the planet is likely to be sucked into a giant black hole.
Yep, good stuff.

I'll just join the anti-war protesters at my college and sing Kumbaya while the MIRVs streak towards us, since I wont be legally allowed to have any guns with me in the dorms. ;)

And guns in the dorms would help you how??? I mean sure, you could play nuclear skeet and that would be fun and all but..................:uhoh:
Not that think no guns is a good thing mind you I was just making specific situation observation.
So it's the end of the world as we know it.......................................again.
The older I get the more I believe that we won't go out with a bang but with a whimper.

Monkeyman:
I've got some 1/8" plate aluminum you could use, but you'd need to MIG weld it into shape, it wont bend for crap. When used with an under-beanie of Reynolds-brand foil, its gaurenteed to prevent 99.99% of all brainwave leakage.
Cslinger:
I normally average about 15/25 in trap, nuclear skeet would definitely not be my kind of sport.

Nope, custom formed Chrome-moly is the only way to go, just ask Merlin.

2dogs,
Your guess is as good as mine. However, if by some chance one of the "white table cloth with fan belt" crowd manages to take out a commercial airline plane with a SA-18 or something similar next month,
all bets are off. The aftermath will make "Krystal Nacht" look like a Sunday school picnic............... :fire:

Guys, terrorism has to be unpredictable to really be effective. They'll hit when our guard is down and we're looking the other way. Keep your eyes open and if you see something funny, call the police or FBI. That worked for us in WW II in picking up virtually every single Nazi spy who landed by U-boat (if not all of them).

Okay, I'm in, but before it starts, can you tell me, once and for all,
which is better?
9mm or .45acp?
AK or AR?

9mm and AK. Most 9mms (mine at least) hold 17 rounds. I'd rather have 17 rounds of 9mm than 8 or 9 rounds of .45. The AK is more powerful and easier to clean.

HBK: I may be wrong but I think that longeyes was making funny with his post as these questions are not answerable by mere mortals. At least not by the 50% who are wrong and pick the AR and the 9mm. :D

"I normally average about 15/25 in trap, nuclear skeet would definitely not be my kind of sport."
See, this is why you need a pintle-mounted, full-auto, belt fed 8-bore shotgun. Who needs accruacy?
As for all the tinfoil stuff: just build a Faraday cage into the walls, roof, and foundation your house. It isnt all that hard to do, and you need is wire. Yes, your clock-radio won't work for crap, but a Faraday cage works better than the Reynolds wrap. (Word of warning: the CIA's Orbital Mind Control Lasers cause the wire to heat up a bit on each pass, so be sure to use heat-resistant insulation.)
