Does anyone keep a logbook for your guns on round counts and maybe serial numbers and pictures of it? What is the best way of doing this and what is the benefics of doing so? thanks

might wanna try a search as it was discussed in depth a couple of weeks ago.
i use a green notebook an track model, serial number, brand, caliber! i then have different chapters for pistol, rifle, shotgun
in a folder in my file cabinet i have all my reciepts, bill of sales, an manuals. i also keep a business card of most places i buy from.
benefits are you have a record in case of theft or fire.
if there is ever a warrenty issue you have a book to take with you instead of the weapon. you also have the reciept which has dates on it. bill of sales have who you bought it from or who you sold it too. its pretty much a really nice CYA an a way to track your gear.
i dont track round count however.
