I have been getting these messages for a while now, and I realize that there is nothing better for shutting up antis about the need to be armed than getting a monthly reminder that someone was victim of a violent crime right where I go to school every day.

I'd like to thank whomever came up with the Federal Law referenced at the bottom.

UMPD will increase its own police and security patrols around the area.

How will that shut up an Anti?
She did not have a gun, and was not murdered; therefore guns are not needed.

They would say the only thing she did wrong was resisting. She should have given him her purse and laid down on the ground like a good compliant victim. :barf:

I believe the reference is to the "Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act" which was passed after an incident here at my school (Lehigh University) in 1986.
