So, Saturday, Buck Knives had a factory clearance sale.

I managed to score a few goodies at reduced prices. And in spite of the reduced prices, I managed to bruise my wallet. Wish I'd had another $500 spare cash, though. They had some great deals that I couldn't do. *Sigh*

Here's a few shots of what came home. (The regular 110, the unsigned one, is only in the photos for comparison purposes.)

Here ya go:

A custom 110 and 297 Sirus, both signed.

I probably should have mentioned . . .

C.J. Buck, current president, and his dad, Chuck Buck, were there signing blades for those who wished.

So, those scribbles you see on the blades above (and below, later) are their signatures.

One of the knives I got (297 Sirus) is for my son. I got C.J. to also engrave my son's name on the other side of the blade.

Not exactly an everyday gift, but I think he'll like it.

Nice find. Sometimes we're in the right place at the right time.

Great looking Buck's

You have it even worse that I thought! I at least show [I]some[I] restraint (I'm broke)! Wish I could get up there!

Nice stuff, especially signed!

A few detail shots.

Here's the one I got for my son (297 Sirus):

His name, engraved by C.J. Buck.

Naturally, I had to buy *ahem* a backup. Which will be staying with me.

Great scores. I'm not familiar with the 297 Sirus. Does the cam lock tuck away when open or does it stay out like that? It just looks like it could be very uncomfortable to use if it doesn't tuck back in the handle some. But I haven't handled it so I'm asking.
