I hope that the perils of un-controlled traffic, emboldened goblins and any other pass them by without causing harm. Those without power might not see this until it's all over, but know that the thoughts of the rest of us are with you.

a prayer is nice and all, but if I was living there, I'd put more trust in a Glock in the holster and a Benelli M3 in the hand.

Maybe this and 9-11 will act as a wake up call for those stuck in NY that sometimes the government and police can't always protect the sheeple. And maybe then they will reconsider all their crappy gun laws.
