ok well my grand father is giving me his NIB remmy 1100 semi auto that he has had for many many years and never shot. as well as a odd ball bolt action shot gun?

here is the thing, all it says on the while gun is Ranger101.4 on the reciver and on the barrel it says 2 3/4 or 3" shells.

tis a bolt action, looks like a 5 capicity detachable magizine, and looks to be in a .410 gauge. i will get some pictures up asap (well as fast as i can since my laptop with the digi camera sofeware died on em yesterday) but if anyone has any info on it i would appreaciate it.

This should be a shotgun built by Savage/Stevens for sale by Sears under the "Ranger" name; they were built from the mid-1930s until just after WW2.

thanks very much. its actually in really good shape. the finish on the stock is still good and i think it will be a dove hunting gun now.
