A plastic knife, how cool! (Sorry, couldn't resist)

I've had the shovel since I first saw one many, MANY years ago. It's been great, it still works fine.

The knives never seemed to be very useful for my personal taste. I believe this has been discussed here, it has a very similar blade design to the U.S. M3, a good stabber but not a great utility cutter.

Fairly sturdy, not overly expensive, steel isn't great.

I love the shovel!

The knives suck if you really want a knife.

The sheath is great though!
Too bad it won't fit anything else.

see "Search this Forum" for previous Glock knife/shovel threads where it's been discussed previously.

Some have gotten Glock knives they likes and others have gotten Glock knives they hated.

Those folks with problems complained that the knives have been - Steel too soft to hold an edge or too hard to sharpen. Dull edges. Dull tips. Peeling handles. Too flimsy to hammer tent stakes with.

The folks that haven't had any problems praise how inexpensive they are.

I don't remember anyone saying anything bad about the shovel.

for the money they are great, but you can do better as far as knives go. I leave mine in my car's b.o.b. it is there if I ever need it and I know it will preform well.

Here is what they say over at Bladefourms about them.

after posting here about it...and reading and thinking...

AND using my Glock knife i think:

Itīs the best inexpensive tool to have in
the car... in the camping equipment ....
in the tool box.... stuff, that you donīt shed
tears for, when theyīre gone.

i paid like 20$ for mine and will recklessly use it
on every task. If it breaks i will not cry
and just buy a new one.

itīs a perfect tool. But not comparable to a knife
that has been given a soul by its maker
( ..and costs like 200+$$$)

They make decent throwing knives.
