Don't know if they are the cheapest (careful, there's some real junk out there) but I like the laser cast:

www.laser-cast.com

Note postage is included. Right now they are 10% off on web orders.

montanagoldbullets.com postage included with montanagold

has some great prices on bulk orders. I dont think you will find anything really cheap unless you buy your components in bulk. powdervalleyinc.com and wideners.com has some good deals on powder and primers and wideners has great deals on mil spec new bullets.

I cast my own, and all I have invested is my time. I paid for all my casting equipment many, many times over years ago.

Hope this helps.

Mastercast Bullets (http://www.mastercastbullets.com/productpricelist.html) are the best I've shoot in a very long time. Mike the owner is a great person to deal with too. His bullets are made very well and are extremely accurate. (He doesn't keep up with his web site so email him for current prices) I just bought 2,000 148gr DEWC .358" bullets from Mike for $112 including S&H&Insurance.

Roger's Better Bullets (http://www.betterbullets.com/products.htm) are very good bullets too. I usually buy them at the local gun shows when I need small amounts of different bullets to try out and to make test loads. When you only need a few hundred bullets it's nice not to pay S&H. You won't go wrong with these bullets either.

Before I found Mastercast Bullets I bought a lot of bullets from Bulletworks (http://www.bulletworks.com/ipsc_bullets.html). They make a good product too but I like the prices better from Mastercast.

"mkl" in an above post is correct, there are a lot of junk bullets out there. Laser Cast bullets are good accurate bullets but they cost twice as much as the links I provided. The 3 companies I listed all make a quality product too but at a much lower price.

Quickdraw McGraw,
I have 1,000 of each 230gr LRN for the .45 Auto and 158gr SWC for the .38 Special from Laser Cast. I'm happy with them too but I bought them when Cabela's had them on backorder for half the price they are now. If I could get the .45's for $52/1,000 I would buy them again but they are now $105/1,000. That is just too rich for my pocket!!

I highly recommend buying from Mastercast Bullets (http://www.mastercastbullets.com/productpricelist.html). The owner Mike is a great guy to deal with and he makes a quality product and at half the price of the Laser Cast bullets.

ArchAngelCD I agree I got my Oregon Trail 230 gr RN in July of 2007 from MidwayUSA for $31.99 per 500 (they are now $71.99 for 500). I wish I would have gotten a lot more cause they shoot real outa my P345. For 65.05 for a 1,000 I may just try the Mastercast bullets cause I'm surely not gonna buy the Laser-Cast unless they are on sale (like 50% off). I can get 500 Rainiers for $68.99 at Midway why would I spend that the OT?

I have a local source for LWC 148g that I use $17 per 250. I load them in range scrounge .38spl cases with about 3-4 grains of universal. Cost=.12 per round. Thats about $6 per box of 50.

I would never do business with Mike at Mastercast in Illinois again. I ordered and he wrote that the bullets would be shipped at the beginning of the next week. 16 days later, I wrote and asked if they had been shipped. No response. When I wrote and told him to cancel the order, he wrote a nasty email, claimed he had planned to send them soon and told me to kiss his ass. He said he would refund my money when he got around to it. Then I waited four days and he did not refund. I told him I would file a dispute. I filed a dispute and he only refunded $55. of the $75, even though he never shipped anything. He is just trying to steal $20. He also sent an email calling me a liar and telling me he didnít give ďa rats ass.Ē Mike is a name-calling, abusive person who does not do what he says he will do and then insults you about it. If anybody wants, I will be happy to post his emails.
