MMC Front Band Sight Question

I have MMC ghost rear and MMC Front band sights on my 870.
I have found that I cannot seem to get the front sight to tighten enough to prevent it from moving.
Anyone have any suggestions? I just want to tighten the sight so it will not move from recoil. It seems to me if I can still move it by hand, then it will move during fire and any efforts by me to zero in the sights go for naught.
Thanks in advance for any help,
WJR

Anyone??
Am I spitting into the wind? Should I just get a sight silver soldered and be done with it?

This is a question for the Techs at MMC. They know their product best.

I pulled out more shims than the instruction said, scuffed up the mounting area and slathered them in red high strength locktite. They haven't come off since.

I would remove more shims and use the tube of grit to give it a bite.
There are different sizes of front bands also, make sure you got the correct one if it's too loose and removing extra shims does not help.
