Magpul Industries Fmg-9

I can't decide whether to put this in the pistol or rifle forum.
So I'm putting it here. Either way, I wish they would get this thing outa the concept phase so I can get me one. Well, CA won't let me have nice things, but... one can dream:D

It's an SBR and requires one stamp if semi, it's an MG and requires one stamp if automatic, except the 86 ban means it can't be transferred if an MG.

It wouldn't be an AOW because it has a stock and "looks like a gun" when ready to fire.

If it didn't have a stock, it would be a pistol with a vertical forward grip: AOW

If it could be fired while still folded it would be the same as a cane gun: AOW

As it is, it's just a rifle with a neato folding stock and a short barrel. If you could cut a slot in the end plate and put a 16+ inch barrel on it, you wouldn't even need a stamp.

They say it's a concept because what Magpul showed off was a non-functional prototype.

Non-working gun = concept display

My mistake, I thought seeing it was a gadget thing it would be AOW but now SBR makes sense, Thanks guy's


Still annoys me they wont make it though :(

Hell, I'd settle for an airsoft version. :D
