I'm trying to find where I can buy 5 - 50 round boxes of Speer Gold Dot Short Barrel .38 Spl +P 135 grain.

I can only find the 20 round boxes online which I've always found to be overpriced.

I don't want to buy a case. I specifically need only 5 boxes. Maybe 6.

Any help is appreciated.

^ Hmmm Streichers poses an interesting dilemma...50 rounds of Speer GD or 50 rounds of Federal HST right around the same price +-...both are great rounds. :confused::)

already had checked them. They only have the 20 round boxes for the 38 spl +P Short Barrel ammo.

negative for Streichers. I hadn't thought to check them, but I just did. They don't carry .38 spl +P Short Barrel at all.

swright101 - those guys aren't advertising it as Short Barrel, but the part number of 53921 as in the photo is what I am looking for. That price seems unbelievably low ($65 for 5 boxes?!).

yes it's real,it's the 135 SBGD bullet and they have a ton of it which is why the price is low.

If it turns out to be too good to be true, try Georgia Arms. They use Speer Gold Dot bullets and sell the ammo at a very reasonable price. My only quibble was that they offer only +P in 9mm, but then again, having tried it, I can detect no difference in felt recoil, so it no longer matters to me.

Well, the whole thing was that I wanted new production cartridges made by Speer, not just ammo made with speer bullets.

I sent the MO today.
don't worry they're strait shooters I bought 3000 rounds three months ago and just sent another MO for 2000 more.
A little off topic if you buy on GB and send MO thru USPS there is little to worry about as failure to compleate transaction constitutes mail fraud on their part.auto 10 year felony.

I bought 250 rounds of 9mm from "sellforless." they are indeed the real deal. Great stuff at great prices.

I can confirm now that they are legit.

The first order came about a week and a half after post #16. I then placed a second order about 2 weeks ago. It came today.

I will be placing a third order (so I will have 1,000 Speer SB .38 +P rounds in a can) tomorrow.

I wonder what else they sell. Anybody have links to some sort of listing of what they have for sale? They don't seem to have a website.
