I bought a knife from a forum member the first part of May, paid immediatly, but still have not received the knife. He did e-mail me a couple months ago and said he was being shipped out, but no word since.

Since he is apparently in the military I have been holding off but how long should I do so?

If not a custom job, the blade should have been sent to you immediately after confirmation of payment.

I wouldn't hesitate to contact and inquire as to status. Poossibly it was lost in the mail, and you'll need to trace it and seek (insurance) refund.

If he never bothered to send it, then you have very good justification to be upset at someone taking your money.

Hopefully it is just a misunderstanding.

Thanks CWL and all that PM'd me...I guess I'll give it some more time since he is in the military, reckon it is possible that he has not been able to send it in the last three and a half months. Hard to believe that he is not able to communicate with the outside world though...
