I have a Remington PSS .308 that kicks pretty hard and want to replace the recoil pad. The old shoulder can't take the beating like it once could. After many years of High power and Trap&Skeet shooting things are starting to caught up with me.
Is there any good slip-on pads that work well? I wouls like to use something that works well and looks pretty good.
Thanks

I've used the slip on Pachmayr pads and they work quite well. I wouldn't say they look good though.

Remington has teamed-up with Limb Saver to produce the Remington R3 pad. I put one on my "social" 870 with a factory synthetic stock. Great fit, nice looks, soft as a baby's butt. They may have a factory retrofit for your PSS. I recommend 'em.

+1 on the R3/Limbsaver if you find one that's a direct replacement. Limbsaver also has a slip-on model.
