Did Colt ever make Wood grips for a V frame? I hate rubber and want Colt made ones. I may have to take a file and varnish to a MK 3 Set if they did not!:confused:

Colt did make 2 different styles.
Both of them shown here.
These have much harder to find Colt medallians, but at least you can see both styles.
They fit the Anaconda or King Cobra.

Here's another set of Colt grips- similar to the one's shown on the Cobra- but with the checkering. Numrich shows two types of wood grips in stock for the Trooper MKV but the web site doesn't show a picture.You could try giving them a call. The grips also show up on Ebay from time to time. Good luck!

Do you know what they called those grips on bottom of you pix? Those are cool and would like to search for a set! Are those called Colt Combat grips?
