Got your interest? ;) I have just received 720 rounds of Wolf .223 ammo. Free,my brother gave it to me. Do I sell it,or buy a cheap .223 rifle to shoot it up with? Or give it away and hope for manifold blessings in return? :p

Might not shoot out of some rifles. Wolf won't shoot out of my brothers AR.

Give it away (to Bazooka Joe71) in a Karma and feel good about myself

If you buy a rifle and it doesn't shoot wolf, then sell the rifle.

Especially an AR...I wouldn't own one if it didn't reliably shoot wolf, even though I don't really ever shoot wolf since it isn't all that accurate and it is dirty.

Buy a .223 rifle.
Shoot a few rounds from said rifle.
Realize that .223 just doesn't do it for you.
Give ammo AND rifle to Mr. White in hopes of all kinds of good juju to come your way.

Give it to me and I'll pay the shipping. My AR loves Wolf.:)

Or you could be selfish and buy yourself a cheap Romanian AK of a Saiga and have some fun.

get a saiga in 223. less than 300 and it will definitely eat and spit wolf. classicarms.us has wasr-3 for under 400.

An NEF Handi-Rifle is around $225, and it would take a while to shoot up all that Wolf that way. Mine likes Wolf just fine, though as Bazooka Joe 71 said, it's not all that accurate and it is dirty.

My Handi-Rifle is the only one I have that does not like Wolf. It won’t eject. I have to beat the case out with a cleaning rod. I assumed that was because the Handi-Rifle is a 223 rather than a 5.56. It could just be my rifle.

Unless I was in need of money, I would buy a rifle to go with the ammo. My AR shoots it fine, and so do plenty of other rifles, so I wouldn't be to worried about reliability.

Trade it to blkbrd666 for 720 rounds of .220 long rifle...it's lighter and easier to move around. :)

720 rounds of .223 would not be enough for me to justify a gun solely for that free ammo. If I was going to buy a .223 rifle anyway, 720 rounds may be enough to convince me to pull the lever sooner.

While some may joke about give it away free, it is what I truly do. When I have ods and ends ammo, I give it to family or friends.

Hey...that's how the ammo came to you! :D Buy a rifle and use it, or give it away (pay it forward).

Ruger Ranch Rifle AKA Mini-14, you won't regret it.

Get a Saiga in .223 or a Kel-Tec SU-16. Both are great, reliable rifles that will happily eat Wolf all day long.

Plus .223 is a fun round to shoot.

Find a buddy with a .223 rifle and ask him to help you burn it up some weekend.

Give it away to somebody you don't like. It's more trouble than it's worth.
My friend, believing a gun rag's favorable write up of the Wolf .223, bought 2,000 rounds.
He had so much trouble with it he gave 1,000 rounds to me and the rest to his son-in-law. His son-in-law had so much trouble with it he gave the ammo back to his father-in-law.
I had so much trouble with it I tried to give it back but my friend but he wouldn't take it.:D

Get a cheap KelTec .223 and blast away.
Wrong.
This is what it does in my three .223 Kel Tecs. It takes a sharp hit with a steel cleaning rod to drive the steel case from the chamber.

Buy an Ar-15..... you'll never regret it.

BUT, if you're going to sell the free ammo - give the proceeds back to your brother otherwise he might feel used.

I have just received 720 rounds of Wolf .223 ammo. Free,my brother gave it to me.

If it's the lacquered steel stuff, sell it. I broke an extractor on my Mini with that stuff.

I hear tell (InnerNet gunboard hearsay, aka pooled ignorance, YMMV) the newer stuff is better.

I'll echo the Saiga .223 suggestions.

The best deal going in .223/5.56 autoloaders and should run just fine on steel cased ammo.

Sell it and buy the ammo you need unless you seriously intend to pick up a gun in the is caliber.

Saiga 308 is a good deal for .308 Win autoloaders too.

I was going to say buy a gun until I read Nightwings post. I am all for anything that helps a kid become a responsible adult that. If his pm he sent you is about helping him help kids then I would recommend helping him.

If not the go for the new gun and shoot it all!

My vote is to pay it forward unless you have a specific want for a .223 rifle or want to start an EBR collection. I have a bunch of 10MM reloads that I'd like to do that with, but the 10MM is such a hot round I'd hate to pass on a kaboom.

i will take all the bullets that you want to get rid of new or used i can use them and recycle the old ones
