1911 colt (custom work)

Here's a question for you folks to consider,
I have a Colt Delta elete gold cup that I'd like to have some work done on, the slide to frame fit is not up to par in my opinion, the barrel bushing is loosely fitted both to the slide and the barrel. This pistol has less than 200 rounds through it.
What I'm looking for is 100% reliability, plus awesome accuracy. Who is the best reputable gunsmith to do the work? I don't mind paying good money for good results, but I absolutley hate to pay good money for poor work.
Reccomendations appreciated.

Bob Rodgers is in AR near you.
I'd put him in the Top 10 if you can wait as well as afford him. Try to call him and see if he's willing to squeeze you in since you don't need a full build.

The only pistolsmith I've used was Alex Hamilton of Ten Ring Precision in San Antonio, TX. His work is definitely top notch.

I've read good things about Bill Jarvis and his work, I'm
going to send him my SW1911 for a trigger job - I already
have the Novak sights, and beavertail grip safety & a Jarvis
barrel in .400 CorBon so I don't need the complete packkage.
I also don't want the ambi safety but that's just me.
