I remember reading in a Shotgun News about a Lanber 12 Ga semi with 28" brl for $199. This was a couple of months ago; I went to the website and they didnt have this model listed. Is this a typical price for this shotgun? Is it a good one? Do they make a youth model?
Thanks.

199 is what CDNN Investments has them for at this time. Page 29 of their current catalogue and they have a wedsite too. Lanbers are made in Spain.
You might find some info on them at this location on the net.

I seem to recall they get good reviews and given the price that says alot for the idea that cheap is not aways and indication something won't work.
If they made a 20 ga I'd have one in a second.
Another econo auto loader is made by Verona (Italy I think). Frankly its better looking than the Lanber but that is a personal deal. Who know which is better.
You can find various models listed on gunbroker.com at what seems very reasonable prices. Let us all know what you get and how it works. I'm looking for a cheap autoloader at the present time so I have these two and the IZH 153 under consideration. Wish they offered shorter barreled versions. The Russin supposedly handles every thing from 2&3/4 to 3&1/2 inch shells. The other two do not.
Take care and good luck.
