Printed on the side of some Remington shotgun shells that I have.
What does it mean?

From Remington:
BAR is a pressure designation used in European markets.
The 1050 Bar and the shell length in millimeters printed on our shells are required by some international government agencies. The 1050 Bar actually references the shotgun, not the ammunition.
Meaning I guess that the shotgun should be proofed to that pressure to safely shoot these shells....
