How is the CZ 100? I saw one the other day for the first time.

Those who have owned both frequently say its superior to the Glock 17/19 in all respects save one -- the trigger. (And when you've got a trigger that's less "good" than a Glock trigger, you've got a problem.) You'll be hard-pressed to find a gun that "fits" your hand better.
On the ones I've handled and the one I shot, the trigger tends to be long and "SPRONGY," and it doesn't break consistently. Long-time owners/users say that after several hundred rounds the trigger gets much better.
A couple of guys on the CZ Forum, however, have come up with mods that greatly improve the trigger -- easily done by hobby gunsmiths -- and left detailed instructions and photos there.
I've never wanted one because of the trigger, but now that the guys in the CZ-100 Club (on the CZ-Forum) have done the hard work, I may have to get one, one of these days.

The CZ 100 is accurate, comfy, dependable, moderately light in weight but Walt nailed it. And its not really that ALL of the triggers suck, but they are very inconsistant. I rented on in SLC that put EVERY Glock trigger to shame. But its the only one Ive shot like that.
You will like it...if you get a good trigger.

I like it. Yes the trigger is different, but after ~500 rds it had gotten better.
-It is very accrete. (right out of the box)
-It is very comfortable in the hand
-It is fairly light
-It is very reliable. (No problems at all).
Is it as good as my CZ-85 Combat?? No.. but It is all of the above and I carry it most of the time.

Not really. What has to happen, and what the mods proposed on CZ Forum do, is to wear (or sand) the surfaces smooth in a couple places where they are not. A few hundred rounds isn't enough to do that.
There's another trigger annoyance. The trigger is grooved, not smooth. This wouldn't be such a big deal if the gun was DA/SA. In DAO it cam be hard on the trigger finger. The last time I was out shooting with it I actually got a blister from it.
but now that the guys in the CZ-100 Club (on the CZ-Forum) have done the hard work, I may have to get one, one of these days.
And I may have one for sale one of these days. Mine is in to CZ for service at the moment, as ejection got erratic after 8 months and a few hundred rounds. When it comes back I'm going to have to figure out what I really want to do with it.

What about the CZ-110? Looks like the same deal but with a DA/SA trigger instead of DAO. Are these even imported?

The trigger needs some help.
It's very long, sproingy, and inconsistent. :barf: :barf:
For CZ's, better stick with the all-metal lineup. ;)

Nope they are not being imported.
Supposedly CZUSA has told CZUB that there isn't a market for it in the US.

This is true...but the person who passed on this "MISINFORMATION" is no longer @ CZUSA and current staff are looking at getting the gun imported.
I see NO REASON why the gun wouldnt sell like crazy....P99 trigger/decocker setup......SA trigger pull......and it only took 3 years to get them imported....if it happens this year :scrutiny:

look for a steyr m9/m40/m357 over a cz100. better trigger and tennifer finish.
priced in $300 range like the cz100's
dont see to many cz100's around most folks go for the cz75's
cz110 sounds nice though. da/sa p99 trigger action sounds interesting.

I own one in .40 caliber (ported) and like what has been said here, the trigger is lloonngg. But, it's a bit more accurate than my CZ 40B and with less felt recoil. I haven't had the need to work on the trigger, since mine is smoothing out all on it's own with use. Accurate right out of the box as has been all my CZs.
