Anybody know where to get 230gr. 45ACP Golden Sabers for a good price?

For some reason, I'm having a hard time finding these. I see that CTD has them for $16.72/25 +$3 + S/H, but I'd like at least a second source for price comparison.

The Kieslers Online price for the Rem .45ACP GS has almost doubled since I last bought some earlier this year, when I paid $7.09 per box. What happened???

Turners Outdoorsman in Southern California had them on sale a few weeks ago for $8 a box. :D

I believe the .357 mag GS's were cheaper as well when I bought some from Kiesler's about six months ago. I'm not particularily happy with GS quality control, but they are a nice round.

I also bought some S&B .357's from them and a few days later noticed they had raise the price about a dollar a box and had pictures of new boxes instead of the old style boxes. Seems to be the standard practice to sell old boxes for less than new inventory. That would seem normal, I don't understand the GS pricing though....

$8 a box for 25 is still twice as much as typical ammo costs. Almost as much of a ripoff as the "Federal Personal Defense" ammo in the 20 round boxes for $9.95-$12.99 ect.

I asked them about that and the said Remmington raised their prices. Sounds like BS to me.

They stopped selling GS Bonded to non-LE's too. :scrutiny:

Comparing the price of domestically-produced premium hollowpoints to imported ball is kinda specious, don't you think? Most manufacturers' good JHP's run $9-$11/20, which makes $8/25 strike me as a pretty fair deal.
