I just got info for North American Hunting Club in the mail.Thay would like me become a member.:scrutiny: Is this good club to join and how is the info in the magazine? Any info you can give would be great.:D

I was a member for a year and never resubscribed. I find there is better info on the net. Try it for a year and if you don't like it you know what to do.:D

I don't remember whether it was earlier this year, here, or back at TFL when we had a go-'round about NAHC, but the majority of comments were negative.

I've read their magazine, and it's adds little to such as Field & Stream, etc. The "trials" and "gifts" got mostly bad comments.

I wouldn't bother.

I joined last year. Paid my dues which they raised on me. Got sporadic magazines. Got sent books that I didn't want. Never got any free stuff. Now they keep sending bills for this years subscription which I don't want. I did not renew, told them I wasn't going to renew and now they say I'm late on my renewment payment....go figure...

I subscribed almost a year ago. I haven't been too impressed. It's not bad, just not what I was expecting. I will not resubscribe.

I became a Life Member years ago.
I got a nice leather jacket with the logo on it, and I'll get a magazine every month forever.
Informed them NOT to send any gifts I didn't ask for or expect me to pay for something I didn't ask for.
I enjoy the reading material and benefits available, though.
Glad I joined.

I also became a member years ago, and like bus said I asked to not be sent any of their promotions that had to be paid for, but I get a decent magazine for the rest of my life. Not sure I would do it again as I am not into hunting like I was when I was younger.

I agree. I do like the magazine pretty well. Just make sure to let them know, in no uncertain terms, NOT to send you stuff you didn't specifically request.

The jacket is o.k. as well. I don't know if that really makes it worth joining, but they're...you know...o.k. There are WORSE clubs, as far as that goes.

Hmmm...I guess I mostly just like the magazine.

NAHC, while it may mean to do well, is really just an enormous marketing endeavor.
