Has anyone ever used this press:
http://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item.asp?sku=00047MKXVI
I tried search and did not come up with much. I am kind of interested in it for decapping since my lee press (turrest press)spits primers all over the place and my dog thinks they are neat to eat (I have not let him eat any, but it is only time beofre he does). Thanks...

See this (http://www.castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=30074).
Gentleman:
Got of my lazy.... and made a call early this morning to Midsouth Shooters Supply.
Asked for details on the already mentioned Smart reloading press that looks like a Lee Classic Cast.
Was told the aren't in stock andthe shipment from overseas won't be in untill June.
Was also told that when they had originally spec'd this press out they had asked for cast iron construction but they would have no idea if it's cast iron or not until the shipment gets here!
So I guess this answers the questions I was asking.
I really hoped this was a "private label" deal between Lee and Midsouth but it's not.
it is apparently being made in Asia, and is a complete rip of the Classic cast from the look of the advertising.
Sadly no patents or trademark infringment exist here ,it's just about another company trying to get by on someone else's advertising dollar and experience!
I guess this will be the last time I do business with Midsouth.
Wonder what Lee thinks of this thing?
So, not much hard information without hardware in hand, but I think I'd just go buy the Lee that this is a copy of.

Ditto on the Lee. The pirates will not prosper if we don't support them by buying the products. Lee is all American, and one of the most innovative companies around (for the last 50 years) Spend your money with the folks that support our local manufacturers, not the copy cats that steal from them. Again, just my American .02C opinion.

This does look like the 'black sheep' of the Lee. I mean, they could have a least tried to disquise it a little. That really sucks.

I wonder what kind of customer support the over-sea pirates offer on their presses.....

If Lee can't trust em', do you think anybody can?

Well after talking with Lee about a problem I am about to switch anyway. I told them my press was spilling spend primers all over the floor. They told me it would do that. I informed them it should not do that and the tech said "oh well". I said I should go with someone lese and retire the press and he stated "Go ahead, whatever..." and hung up the phone. Great customer service, I get better service at McDonalds...

Next time, ask for a manager. I am sure they would like to know about a problem like that.

Wow, I got just exactly the opposite reaction. They were very nice and super helpful. Every company can have a bad apple, report it to John Lee, I am sure he will get that fixed ASAP.
