Hi, lovegbt.
If you look at my post here, you will see a short line (kind of like this: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ) with some remarks under it (one in blue, two more in green), which have nothing to do with the conversation.
Those are "signature lines" that appear after each message I write. Each member may create such "sig(nature) lines" as an expression of belief, faith, wisdom, observation, or "self" as one sees it.
The "political" remark you noticed above is simply a person's signature (sig) line, quoting a famous person.
