Hey all,
I have a Saiga and a 8-42 POSP scope. I have an AK mount on the saiga and made sure I ordered the correct POSP with the AK mount attachment.
Two things Ive noticed. I have seen several images with the AK mount have a cam arm along with the locking lever. Mine only has the locking lever.
Sticking out of the lever is a metal nub that appears to lock on the underside of the scope. However, this requires putting stress on the locking lever by pressing it in a bending motion.
I made sure everything was adjusted, and the scope locks with no wiggle. However, I was just wondering if I was correcting in making sure the locking lever is completely over the rail and locked in. It almost appears as if that bending pressure could damage the screw over time.
Either way, I just want to make sure I am going about this correctly. Any thoughts.
Thank you.
