S&W 642/Crimson Trace question

S&W packages the CT LG-305 extended grips on the 642. Is anyone using these for everyday pocket carry? They look a little large, but obviously might make heavy loads a little more comfortable at the range.
It looks as if the LG-405 regular length grip might be a little more convenient in a pocket holster but the 305 grips are a little less money if purchased as a combo.

I have the 305s on my 637, bought with them four years ago. I don't carry, but I do practice in hopes of getting a better sheriff in the next election. I use an Uncle Mike pocket holster (thrrrrifty!) and find that it does a good job of concealing in my chinos. However, I agree with Mavracer that the 405s would be a better choice -- if they had been available when I bought my 637, and if I knew then what I know now, I would have chosen the 405s instead. They have that little shock absorber up the grip, right where my 637 really beats my hand up when I practice.

I have a 642 with LG-405 grips, and pocket carry daily without issue. I have somewhat small hands for a male, and find that the grips are long enough that I have "meat" for my pinkie finger. Someone with large hands might not fit as well.
Went thru a "snubbie revolver" class last month, didn't have any control problems during rapid fire strings. And the soft material over the backstrap really improves comfort under recoil. No split thumbs anymore!

I have the 405's on my 340PD.
This J-frame is one of my CCW handguns and I generally pocket-carry it.
The little "Air Pocket" makes a world of difference in comfort from the recoil - well worth the money in my opinion.
