Help! I need a ballistic table for the .17 HMR from 25 yards to 150 yards. I've zeroed my rifle at 25 yards but need the Kentucky windage out to 150 yards with that specific zero.

Sorry, that's HMR, not WMR!!!

Thanks.

Meek

Thank you. This helps some. Most amazing rifle caliber in the world and little published about it.

Thanks, guys.

I found an old water heater tank in a ravine this weekend and shot it with the .17. I would estimate the steel was between 10 and 12 gauge. Bullet went in one side and out the other.

Hole on the front side was about .17 cal and the hole on the back side was about 36 cal. If you think about it that is a pretty impressive hole for a bullet which is about the size of a cooked grain of rice.

This was with the Hornady red tipped brand. I bought a couple of boxes of CCI, but after reading Varmint Al's disturbing discussion of how "(t)he first few ground squirrels shot with the CCI ammo crawled away from good hits" I don't think I could risk using it on any real target, not even a feral cat. :what:
