Problems with the Remington .260

I just received an e-mail today asking if I had heard of any problems with the Remington .260. I am not aware of any problems with Remingtons of this caliber. Has anyone here heard of any such problems or is this another bit of speculative scuttlebutt being passed on to me? Thank you.

What kind of problems are we looking for? FWIW, I haven't had any problems with MY Remington Mtn Rifle in .260. Other than the fact that nobody around here likes 6.5mm cartridges...

I haven't heard or read of any problems at all.

As you know, some people think it was a cartridge that didn't need to be invented.

Haven't heard of any problems with them but if you confirm this rumor, please post up here to let me know. I've got one myself. Remington Model 7 .260. Haven't had any problems with mine.

Myn wife has a Remington titanium .260 that works just fine. No problems that we can see and a pleasure to shoot and carry.
