Moss 590A1 vs Moss 590? What are the differences?

I picked up a Moss 590A1 and was wondering what if any, were the differences with the "590"?

metal verses plastic trigger guard/group and saftey slider, and a heavier profile barrel, also if it's a bead sighted version it should lack the heatshield of the regul;ar 590 (heavier barrel makes for a rather tight fit so they left it off)

The A1 version has the thicker walled barrel that can be "Vang-comped".

A1 generally has ghost ring sights, bayonet lug, 20" barrel, 8+1 capacity, and costs $400+. I think, in theory, it is the set up the USMC uses.
