I have an old H&R 922 and have a bit of a problem. DH was going to refinish it for me, and sandblasted it with some aluminum oxide. At some point during this the hammer was placed at fullcock and now is stuck. There is a bit of flex and the trigger will also move slightly, but the hammer will not fall forward, and the trigger will not reset. I have blown air & brake cleaner thru the innards as best I can without disassembling it, but cannot get it loosened up.

I have never taken it down to its component parts before, and lacking a schematic I am concerned I will not be able to reassemble it properly...

Advice? Help? Talk me thru it? I could use a schematic if someone can post one up...
