Associated Press reports today that there was a major victory in the war on terrorism yesterday. A ring of domestic terrorists was broken yesterday in a pre-dawn raid. Some terrorists were killed when the police entered and those that were captured will be held at GitMo for questioning. This is the fourth major bust this year.
While the names of the detainees and the circumstances that led to their capture will not be released, it was revealed that there were dozens of firearms concealed in a safe including several easily concealed handguns, a couple of high-powered assault weapons, and a fifty caliber rifle, which is reportedly capable of shooting a jet out of the sky and has a range of more than 1 mile. Thousands of bullets were also confiscated from the property. They will all be smelted into the new peace monument in Washington DC.
The Associated Press has also discovered that the owner of the home which was raided ran an extremist website, which urged others to be uncooperative with the additional security measures that are necessitated by the current orange alert status. This website also advocated extremist positions in regards to ownership of dangerous weapons.
The Director of Homeland Security Mr. xxxxxxxxx said in the press conference that the United States is under siege from those who believe in violence. "Because we are willing to accept security measures such as the Open Computing initiative and Patriot Act III, we will triumph over those who would try to limit our freedoms!".
The Department of Homeland Security is currently seeking approval of a new security bill HR 1039, which will permit them to use the GPS devices in mobile phone to track suspected terrorists.
