I need some help, please. Is the extractor on this gun nickel plated? This is an early one with the "neck" at the rear of the extractor. The one I have is so rusty I can't determine the original finish. Thanks.

AFAIK, there were no Model 1934's nickel plated by the factory. If your gun or any of its parts are plated, it was most likely done in the U.S. by a previous owner.

Again AFAIK, early guns were rust blued; all later production was hot tank blued.

I believe that the Mauser pocket pistols were available (in very small numbers) in nickel. However, the extractor alone would not have been nickel. Someone might have done an aftermarket chrome job on the extractor.
