Hodgdon Powder Data. (http://data.hodgdon.com/main_menu.asp)
I really like Universal Clays in the .40 with jacketed bullets. My Witness Elite match loves Zero JHP's and Universal Clays, but my load is over max by Hodgdon data. It is not by Speer #13 data.

I've seen the Hodgdon data, I was just trying to get a second opinion. The 165gr data, seems out of order with the 155, 170, and 180 grain data.

When I get home I can post the data from Speer #13.
I am shooting 6.1 Grs of Universal Clays with a WSP primer and a Zero 165 Gr JHP@ 1.135 O.A.L. It shoots great in my gun and a couple of others.
It gave 1036 Avg FPS from a 3" XD at 80+ degrees in June 06
It gave 1132 Avg FPS from a 5" WEM at 70 degrees in Jan 07
THIS LOAD IS OVER HODGDON'S MAX!!
I repeat...
THIS LOAD IS OVER HODGDON'S MAX!!
But I like it. ;)
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

For a good FPS to chamber pressure check out Longshot. I use 7.3 to 7.5gr with Rainier 165gr plated hollow points. I have used the same (7.3gr load) with FMJ bullets and gotten good accuracy. I believe Longshot is one of the best 40 S&W powders.
