Have you wrote your congressman about pro-gun issues?

Reading all the other posts lately about writing your reps and senators got me wondering as to how many have actually done it. Until recently, I was always the kind of person that never thought it would make a difference and then never did. A few months ago, I decided I might as well write a few and it was a nice suprise when I started getting responses -- and even better that they were positive ones. My representative even picked up the phone and called me after I had written him and told me that he supported my position and would do all he could to help. Despite the fact that I probably sounded kind of dumb because I didn't really know what to say, that was an awesome phone call to get!
Anyways, have you wrote your congressman recently?

No, but I've written my elected representatives about Second Amendment issues.

Well, my representative is one of the good guys, I correspond with him regularly.:D
My two senators, difi and dabox, :barf: I no longer write to: Between the lies and the dear peasant, we just have to agree to disagree", I decided neither were worth urinating on, much less writing to...:what:

I make use of the material GOA sends out regularly. In addition, I correspond with (and contribute generously to) my delegate to the state legislature, who runs on a strong pro-gun, anti-tax platform. My kinda guy. :D

Yes, hand written letters that I believe get more notice than a quick e-mail.:)

Yes. Outlook prompts me to print out and send the 6 letters that go out on the 14th every month.
I'd probably run a scheduled task to go ahead and print them, but sometimes I edit for addressee/names/etc...
Mine for the past few months have been about the assault weapon ban.
