That is a good price. I paid 259.99 for my .223 and it was as cheap as I could find it anywhere.

IMO they are one of the best buys in guns. Snatch that thing up. Then go to the saiga 12 forum and learn about all the cool things you can do to it. The only draw back is saiga are addcitive and soon you will want a 7.62x39, a S12 and a .308 too.

I just got another Saiga in one of our trademark, multi-person,
guitars & guns trades, as usual, i don't exactly know what happened, but everything's legal and everyone's happy, and i got a slightly dinged but otherwise brand new x39 for $200 even. I love these things !! But i digress...
$249 OTD is a great deal on a .223 Saiga, don't dally, jump now.
By the way, what's the deal on mags for the .223 ? After conversion, can they use AK74 mags ?

By the way, what's the deal on mags for the .223 ? After conversion, can they use AK74 mags ?Most of the conversions I've seen (and my personal ones) use the Galil Orlites, with a small mod to the contour of the nose of the mag.

If you are close to Versailles you can get a .223 with the thumbhole stock ($70 by itself) for 279+tax at Centerfire....
