Binoculars ......Brunton any good?

Hey , I was looking at Cabelas and they have Brunton Bincoulars for 100 buks and I was wondering if they are any good......seem to be decent for hunting.

brunton makes a very good binocular for the money... but, i would be inclined to look a little deeper than their 'bottomest-end'... i have no experience w/ the exact model you are talking about... but i have spent some time on bruntons and was impressed w/ the performance v. cost.

My only experience with Brunton has been their pocket transit. If their binoculars are that good, they're truly righteous. But, the real question is by whom are they made...

I've gotten adequate service from $35 Bushnell binoculars, but that doesn't mean they're high quality. Lengthy use during any one day induced some eyestrain.

If you're going to spend a large part of any hunting day sitting on a mountainside and glassing a lot of country, go for the highest quality you can afford. For occasional use, just sorta checking out an animal, quality is not so critical.
