Just curious when you spray it, is there any kind of odor?

(no smell, or is it pretty obvious?)

Reason being, I've been looking for a pepper spray that I can use indoor without harming 'innocent person standing by' (or 'cross-contamination for the fancy word)

Had a nasty incident where I was spray OC indoors during training and... whole building had to ventilate pretty hard, never thought it would be so strong.

its a good product but you only get like 5-7 shots out of the 2oz can . there is almost no cross contamination . Its just the civilian version of the mace take down at 1.49 caps.

only if you spray a whole lot and it splashes a whole lot . nothing like a normal fog or stream though . what size are you looking at ? look into oc/cs combos they usually smell like oranges and have about the same vaporising properties as gels. some good ones i have sprayed inside are.

mace triple action OC / CN

Def-Tec OC/ CS Blend (good stuff i used it 4 times and worked every time)

Sabre 3 in 1 OC / CS

all three work great except sabre is the only blend that has a 2 mil shu rating the others are only 1 mil . but i hate the acuator on the sabre so its a throw up .

How about the consistens of the product when it leaves the can and on impact? And i also wonder about the foam when it is sprayed and on impact. I have searched the web but only found the image from the package for mace gels. Photos or video would be very appreciated!! The brands i am intressted in is Mace-Gel and KKS-produktes RSG pepper GEL or FOAM. And is the regular sprays better or not than the gel or foam products if you dont care of cross contamination?

Do a search on YouTube for stoppared.

The StoppaRed product is the MACE gel without the OC and with added dyes to make it a useful 'marker' in countries that do not allow OC / CS products.

 shavingcream from hell thats look really messy. I will have to get me one of these gel products (with OC). But dose it take longer time for the gel to kick in or start work because of the consistent than the oil products?

I only have experience of the non-irritant MACE gel, but it is my understanding that the OC generally takes some time to build up in effect and that with the gel it creates a physical barrier across the eyes immediately. By the time they start wiping (or should that be spreading) the gel the OC has had plenty of time to kick in.

ok i understand the gel sound mutch more better. i also live in a country where its illegal with OC/CS but those sprays like dye witness or stoppared that are legal i dont trust at all so its have to be one Mace gel. i have read somewhere that the mace gel have 1.4% MC is that the right numbers if so its even stronger than the Sabre red with 1.33% MC or should it be 1.25% if you look at this info, http://www.cqbsupply.com/defense.html
Prior to December 1998:
• Pure Capsaicin = 15,000,000.
• 2,000,000 is 13.3% of 15,000,000.
• 10% of 2,000,000 is 1.33% of

• 5% of 2,000,000 is 0.67% of
15,000,000.

• 5% of 2,000,000 is 0.62% of

Matt, I'm located in South Korea, we have a retailer for Pepper Gel here, kinda pricy though, about 30 USD instead of 20 USD in states.

It is expensive stuff to move around the globe though, especially by air.

I've got the Mace Pepper Gel that you're talking about.

Used it on a cat that was beating up my brother's cat.

I could definitely tell that there was gas in the air(choked a little), but don't expect anything to blow back at you.

You don’t know what you’re missing. Try the Vexor Consumer model with 15 million SHU's of pure capsaicinoids. Vexor extricates all of the oils, and waxes leaving only pure capsaicin. I was hit with it last week and I will never carry any other product. Vexor was the fastest acting, most intense spray I have ever been exposed to in the past 14 years.

With most OC sprays there is a gradual build up of heat but with the Vexor it was burning at its full intensity the moment it hit my eyes. It is made by Zarc International the inventor of the First Pepper Spray called Cap Stun.

I live in Tulsa and work for a bank but I am a firm believer in Zarc products after seeing them in action by Omaha Police and getting sprayed with their product as well. I am also an NRA instructor and I teach the Refuse To Be A Victim program.

I also heard great things about ETGI

prob is that importing OC is a PITA
