Greetings,

I received 9mm 125gr RN bullets from Stonewall and they look very fine.
I read a few threads about the issues especiallt the lack of precision with those bullets when you shoot them(Especially one that turned nasty on thefiringline.com and got closed).

I reloaded a few of them and shot them. No issue here. I shot as bad a usual with them :neener: than any other bullets I ordered.

Anyway, anyone used stonewall bullets and can comment on those?

Thank you

I've used stonewall bullets. Like on your other thread- they are sticky, but thats a good thing. I'd rather a functional lube than a hard waxy one that just looks nice. (I know there are good hard lubes too, like Lars Carnuba Red, but I'm just saying)

It looks like Lars BAC to me that Stonewall uses. I wipe the bullets on loaded rounds with an old rag. takes about 2-3 minutes to do 300 or so rounds. not much additional time at all and they are aesthetically far more pleasing after that.

as for their quality- they outshoot me, and thats not saying tons either :)

I do the same as trickyasafox. Just wipe them after. I find them as accruate as any others in both 9mm and 45 acp. Not bragging but I get 2" groups or better at 10 yards with no problem. I have ordered about 6000 bullets from Robert Green, who I find a great guy to deal with and have never had any accruacy issue or leading problem. His bullets are just as good if not better than others I have ordered from which includes, Magnus,Penn,Prime reloading, bushwacker, meister just to name a few.If you have a problem with accruacy all I can say is to practice a little more.

Greetings,

I do practice...more and more and more. My eyes look like this now : :what:

Seriously, I go shooting 3-4 times per week at least. I shoot at 33 feet and 44 feet. At 44 feet, I can double tap on about 6 inches, not very good. And when I do single shot firing, on 8 shots, usually I get 2-3 in the bulleye and the remaining is all over the place. Good thing is that I am getting better, but very slowly.

Thank you

Front sight, front sight, front sight... And don't squeeze you're whole hand when pulling the trigger. Get a firm grim and then only the trigger finger should move.

Hope this helps.
