im shure we've all seen the SPAS12 shotgun, and heard of its unqiue ability to switch between pump and auto modes, but i was recently looking into buying a benelli m3 super 90 for a "go anywhere" all pourpose shotgun. this shotgun will be carried the woods, in a atv, in a truck tractor, the list goes on. the only thing i wont be doing with this is hunting waterfoul...

i have a few winchester 1300 and rem 870 shotguns, but the convertible semi auto/pump action feature really caught my eye.

the one i was looking at had rifle/ghost ring sights, stnadard synthetic stocks and the 7+1 full length magazine tube. used buy in excellent condition, no handiling or wear marks anywhere, for about $900

good buy or no?

IMO, a pretty good price.

(Have a couple M3S90s and a SPAS-12. The Benellis are quite a bit more handier with the only shortfall being one round less capacity with full length mags. The can be overcome by an aftermarket mag.)
