That's certainly what wikipedia says, but I don't think so. From watching the movie, it looks more like a 3" to me.

I haven't seen the movie as you couldn't pay me to watch that extreme left wing bleeding heart liberal, George Clooney, in a flick.
But just today, at the Boise Gun Show, my friend who had a table there, sold a factory S&W 629 3" .44 Magnum.

I'm in agreement!
I could not care less which model of S&W revolver, loaded with blanks, that George C. Looney was using.
The Hollywood liberals "kill" so many folks in their movies that eventually they seem to believe that all us true "good guys" are too dangerous to have guns.
They get super-rich acting in violent roles and . . .
Their depiction of guns and violence is so distorted from reality. The effects of this crap truly hurts all honest citizens in their rights to keep and bear arms.

Hi, I'm new and apologize for bringing up this old post. However, when I was young that gun got me started in my passion for revolvers. I bet Clooney would be pissed. Ive met others that loved that gun.
Anyway, its not a S&W.

Since this thread was started THR has pretty much abandoned the whole gun/movie thing.
